The Foundation
The Martha Estrella Foundation is a registered charity based in Ecuador which was set up in 2004. Its mission is to work with disadvantaged communities in Ecuador and find lasting solutions to improve social and economic conditions.
Its founder, Martha Estrella, spent more than 10 years working as a volunteer, managing and developing the state childcare centers in Machachi and its nearby rural communities. After many years of dedication and persistence, Martha was able to develop and sustain five centers providing care to more than 200 children, working as a true leader of the community with the tireless support of its volunteers.
