Use of Information

We do not collect information about individuals, except where this is specifically stated and provided with your knowledge.

We do collect non-specific visitor information by means of a programme called SiteStat, provided by NedStat, on most parts of the Bupa site. We also use “cookies” which are alphanumeric identifiers that are stored by your web browser on your computer’s hard-drive that enable our system to recognise you when you visit the site. This helps Bupa to track basic visitor information in order that we can better tailor the site to our visitors’ needs. We may share overall visitor trends and other generic information collected on this website with third parties but we do not pass on any personal details or personally identifiable information without your specific consent.

Direct Debit Guarantee

The Guarantee is offered by all Banks and Building Societies that take part in the Direct Debit Scheme. The efficiency and security of the Scheme is monitored and protected by your own Bank or Building Society.
If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, you will be told of this in advance by at least 14 working days, as agreed.
If an error is made by Bupa or your Bank or Building Society you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.
You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by writing to your Bank or Building Society. Please also send a copy of your letter to us.
